Earnings tracker

What it does

The Earnings tracker lets you upload earnings call transcripts or investor PDFs for the stocks you care about. The dashboard runs an AI analysis on each upload and surfaces the key takeaways — guidance changes, segment performance, management tone, and risks called out.

Reports are grouped by ticker so you can see how a company’s commentary has evolved across quarters.

When to use it

  • You hold a stock and want to digest its quarterly call without listening to the recording.
  • You’re tracking how a company’s guidance has shifted over the last few quarters.
  • You’re scanning multiple earnings reports during results season.
  • You want a saved record of what management said and when.

How to use it

  1. Open Earnings tracker from the sidebar.
  2. The page lists every report you’ve uploaded, grouped by ticker.
  3. To add a new one:
    • Click Upload report.
    • Pick the ticker and attach the PDF.
    • Click Submit.
  4. The status badge shows where each report is in the pipeline:
    • Processing — the analysis is running. You can leave the page.
    • Completed — analysis ready. Click to read it.
    • Failed — something went wrong (see below).
  5. Inside a completed report, you’ll see a structured summary covering guidance, financial highlights, segment commentary, key questions from analysts, and risks.

Retry a failed analysis

  1. Click the failed report.
  2. Click Retry (you may be able to pick a different AI backend from the menu).

Delete a report

  1. Open the report.
  2. Click Delete. The PDF and the analysis are removed from your account.

Tips & gotchas

  • Quality of analysis depends on the PDF. Scanned/image-only PDFs without selectable text may not analyse well — prefer the official text PDF from the company or stock exchange.
  • Filename doesn’t determine the ticker. Always pick the right ticker in the upload form, otherwise the report ends up under the wrong company.
  • Large PDFs take longer. Ten- or fifteen-page transcripts are normal; very long appendices can slow things down without adding much.
  • Reports are private to your account. They’re not shared with other users.
  • Stock evaluation — run a full deep-dive after reading the earnings analysis.
  • Events — see when the next earnings date is.
  • Fundamentals — verify the numbers cited in the call.
