Corporate events

What it does

The Events page is a calendar of corporate actions — earnings dates, dividends, splits, board meetings, AGMs — for the stocks you hold or follow. It’s the “what’s coming up” view that pairs with Earnings tracker.

When to use it

  • You want to know which of your holdings reports earnings this week.
  • You’re checking ex-dividend dates before buying or selling a position.
  • You’re avoiding a stock around a known volatility-creating event.
  • You’re planning around a split or bonus issue.

How to use it

  1. Open Events from the sidebar.
  2. Browse the list of upcoming and recent events for your portfolio.
  3. Filter by event type (earnings, dividend, split, etc.) or by date range.
  4. Click an event to jump to the relevant stock’s page for more context.

Tips & gotchas

  • Connect a broker first so the page knows which tickers you actually hold.
  • Dates can shift. Companies sometimes reschedule earnings with short notice — refresh the page periodically during results season.
  • Ex-date vs record date. The dashboard surfaces ex-dates (the date you must own the stock by). Check the company’s own announcement if you’re optimising for tax or distribution timing.
  • Earnings tracker — analyse the call after the event happens.
  • Holdings — the portfolio events are filtered against.
