Social feed

What it does

The Social feed pulls discussion from public investing communities (such as Reddit) and presents it in a single, scannable feed. Useful for spotting what retail attention is on — but treat it as a signal, not a recommendation.

When to use it

  • You want to know which names are getting unusually high chatter.
  • You’re trying to spot narrative shifts on a stock you hold.
  • You want a sanity check before acting on your own thesis.

How to use it

  1. Open Social feed from the sidebar.
  2. Browse posts in card format — each shows source, time, and a short summary.
  3. Click through to the original post on the source community.

Tips & gotchas

  • Loud doesn’t mean right. Crowd attention frequently lags price moves and is often wrong on direction.
  • Watch out for pump-and-dump patterns — sudden surges of bullish chatter on small-caps deserve extra skepticism.
  • Use it as one input, not the input. Pair it with News and Stock evaluation before acting.
  • News — curated market headlines with sentiment.
  • Geopolitical — for the bigger-picture narrative.
