Troubleshooting

If something isn’t working, work through the relevant section below. If the problem persists, contact support with a short description of what you tried.

I can’t log in

  1. Check the email. Make sure you’re using the email you signed up with.
  2. Make sure your account is verified. If you signed up but never clicked the verification email, you can’t log in. Check your inbox (including spam) for the verification email.
  3. Reset the password. On the login page, click Forgot password? and follow the email link.
  4. Try again later. If the dashboard is briefly unavailable, you’ll see a connection error — wait a few minutes and try once more.
  5. Cookies / browser. Try a different browser or an incognito window. Some browser extensions block the auth cookie.

If none of the above works, contact support.

I didn’t receive the verification / password reset email

  1. Check the spam / promotions folder.
  2. Wait a minute or two. Email delivery is rarely instant.
  3. Confirm the email address. Typos at sign-up are the most common cause.
  4. Trigger again. Re-submit the sign-up or reset form — a fresh email is sent each time.

My holdings aren’t loading

  1. Refresh the page. Most “stale” issues are resolved by a refresh.
  2. Check the broker connection. Open Brokers — if a card shows Disconnected or Expired, click Connect and re-authenticate.
  3. Check the broker portal. Make sure your broker login itself works and the holdings appear there. If the broker shows nothing, the dashboard will show nothing.
  4. Wait for trade settlement. Recent buys can take a few minutes to appear, even on the broker side.
  5. Try another broker. If only one broker’s holdings are missing, the problem is scoped to that one — reconnect it.

A long-running analysis is stuck on “Processing”

Stock evaluations, screener reports, earnings analyses, and restructuring plans run in the background. They normally complete within a few minutes.

  1. Give it time. Some analyses are slower than others.
  2. Open Job scheduler to see the live status.
  3. If it shows Failed, click Retry. Where available, switch to a different AI model from the picker before retrying.
  4. If retry fails repeatedly, the input may be the issue (e.g., a ticker with insufficient data, a scanned PDF without selectable text). Try a different ticker or upload.

A page is blank or stuck loading

  1. Reload the browser tab.
  2. Hard reload to bypass cached assets — usually Ctrl/⌘ + Shift + R.
  3. Try an incognito window. Rules out extensions and stale local state.
  4. Check the network. A slow or intermittent connection causes spinners that never resolve.
  5. Try later. The service may be in a brief maintenance window.

I’m seeing the wrong P&L / numbers look off

  1. Cross-check on the broker portal. That’s the source of truth.
  2. Refresh. Cached values can lag by a short window.
  3. Check for recent corporate actions. Splits, bonuses, and mergers can temporarily make P&L look strange until the broker updates the cost basis.
  4. For manual investments, make sure the buy price and quantity are accurate. Edit on Manual investments if not.

A broker won’t connect

OAuth brokers (Kite, Upstox, Fyers)

  1. Make sure your broker login itself works.
  2. Disable any browser extension that blocks pop-ups or third-party cookies during the connect flow.
  3. If the broker page errors out, check the broker’s status page — outages happen.

API key brokers (Angel One, Dhan, Groww)

  1. Verify the keys are active in the broker’s developer console.
  2. Confirm the API access permission is enabled on your account.
  3. Make sure you’re pasting the right field in the right input — order matters.

I’m getting a “rate limit” or “too many requests” error

A few features are rate-limited to keep the experience snappy for everyone. Wait a moment and try again. If you hit limits often, give the page time to cache between actions instead of repeatedly refreshing.

I unsubscribed from the newsletter but still get emails

  • The unsubscribe takes effect immediately for new sends.
  • If a digest was already in flight when you unsubscribed, you may receive it once more.
  • Re-confirm in Profile — toggle the newsletter off if it’s still on.

The dashboard appears completely unreachable

  • Try again in a few minutes. The service may be briefly down for maintenance.
  • Check on a different network (mobile data instead of Wi-Fi) to rule out a local network issue.
  • If multiple users report the same problem, it’s a service issue — wait for resolution.

Still stuck?

Contact support via the link in the dashboard footer with:

  • The page you were on.
  • What you were trying to do.
  • The exact error message (or a screenshot).
  • The approximate time it happened.

That’s enough information to investigate quickly.
