News
What it does
News aggregates market headlines from multiple sources and tags each item with a sentiment indicator (positive / neutral / negative) so you can scan quickly.
When to use it
- You want a fast read of what’s happening in the markets without doom-scrolling.
- You’re trying to understand a sudden move in a holding.
- You want to filter for sector- or stock-specific news.
How to use it
- Open News from the sidebar.
- The feed lists headlines newest-first, with source, time, and sentiment badge.
- Click a headline to read the full article on the source site.
- Use the filters to narrow by sector, ticker, or sentiment.
Tips & gotchas
- Sentiment is a heuristic, not gospel. A “positive” tag on a headline doesn’t make a stock a buy — it’s just a quick signal.
- Headline timing varies by source. Some outlets publish near-real-time; others batch.
