Restructuring
What it does
Restructuring is a guided rebalancing tool. It collects a short questionnaire, looks at the holdings you actually have, and generates a personalised plan with concrete buy / sell / trim recommendations and the reasoning behind each one.
The flow is the same every time: Questionnaire → Holdings preview → Plan.
When to use it
- Your portfolio has drifted (a few names dominate; some sectors are underweight).
- Your goals or risk tolerance have changed.
- You’re returning to investing after a break and want a structured starting point.
- You want a “what would a sensible rebalance look like?” view, without paying an advisor.
How to use it
Step 1 — Questionnaire
You’ll answer a short series of questions covering:
- Risk profile — how comfortable you are with drawdowns.
- Goals — capital preservation, growth, income, etc.
- Time horizon — short, medium, long.
- Constraints — any sectors or stocks you want to keep or avoid.
Save your profile when done. You can edit it anytime to regenerate plans against new inputs.
Step 2 — Holdings preview
The dashboard shows every holding it’ll consider — both broker-fed positions and any manual investments. Confirm the list looks right. If something’s missing, add it on Manual investments and come back.

Step 3 — Plan
The AI generates a plan with:
- Recommendations — which positions to add, trim, or exit.
- Target allocation — sector and stock weights aimed at by the plan.
- Rationale — why each move is suggested, anchored to your profile.
You can save the plan, regenerate it, or compare it against previous plans.
Past plans
- Earlier plans are kept in your history. Open one to revisit what was suggested and how things have moved since.
Tips & gotchas
- Update the questionnaire if your situation changes. Plans are only as good as the inputs.
- Make sure manual investments are entered first. Otherwise the plan ignores them and the rebalance won’t add up to your real portfolio.
- The plan is a starting point. Treat it as a structured second opinion, not an instruction. You decide what to act on.
- Generation takes a moment. You can leave the page and come back; the result is saved.
- Run it periodically. Markets move, your goals evolve — rebalancing plans go stale.
